Your Responsibilities

The municipal vehicle workshop is seeking an employee for transport assignments and light workshop work.

In this role, you will drive vehicles between the vehicle workshop, various municipal operations, and external workshops. Between driving assignments, you will perform simpler workshop tasks related to the vehicles' functionality and safety. The job also includes meeting and providing service to customers, as well as documenting tasks in the department's operational system.

Your Qualifications

Automotive technical education
More than basic vehicle knowledge is required to handle the tasks in the role
Driver's license (B) for manual transmission
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Computer skills, as documentation is a natural part of the job

You create good relationships with both customers and colleagues and enjoy customer contact. You have a service-oriented approach and believe it is important to meet customer needs and deliver high-quality work. You work in a structured manner with good order and precision, taking responsibility for ensuring that tasks are performed correctly and safely.

You are quick to learn new tasks and can adapt to changes that may arise during the workday. As a person, you are cooperative and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the group.

Municipal transport is responsible for renting vehicles to the municipality's operations. We manage and administer around 850 vehicle units and are also responsible for goods distribution to all municipal operations. We also handle the booking system and customer support for the municipality's shared car pool.
